October Meeting-Change of Venue!
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Beginning with our October meeting, the location for the SB Estate Planning Council has been moved to Arrowhead Country Club, 3433 Parkside Drive, San Bernardino. The club is three minutes north of the 210 Freeway, off Waterman Avenue.
Our September meeting was a superb beginning for the year. Both the speakers and their topic were well received by our 35 attendees. In addition to a fine showing by many of our regulars, I'm pleased to say there was participation by some folks we've not seen for awhile. Even more, we were encouraged to see several other professionals who'd not been able to join us in the past.
So far this year the Board of Directors has approved the applications of six new members. Several others have expressed an interest in joining as well. I hope you'll come and be a part of this exciting new year.
One reason to consider joining us for October is our program. The topic is "Charitable Imagineering." Well qualified to address us on this subject is Raymond T. Rotolo, Director of Planned Giving at Claremont McKenna College. Ray has some unique perspectives. You can expect a view of his world that is both helpful to yours and entertaining as well.
All that plus easier parking, a chance to see old friends and an opportunity to engage some new ones.
Networking begins at 11:30 am. Our meeting begins promptly at 11:45 and we will end at 1:15 pm.
